The ideal candidate is professional, punctual, and committed to safe driving practices, on-time deliveries, and excellent communication. Drivers will operate a commercial tractor-trailer on regional routes between Amazon facilities and distribution centers. This position requires flexibility with pickup and delivery schedules, the ability to manage assigned loads efficiently, and a strong commitment to DOT regulations and company policies. Responsibilities Safely operate a commercial tractor-trailer on regional routes. Pick up and deliver assigned Amazon Relay loads on schedule. Follow dispatch instructions and use the Amazon Relay app for load details, check-ins, and trip updates. Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections. Maintain accurate electronic logs and comply with hours-of-service regulations. Communicate promptly with dispatch regarding delays, breakdowns, or other issues. Secure and handle equipment properly and maintain a clean driving record. Follow all applicable FMCSA, DOT, and company safety requirements. Qualifications Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL-A). Acceptable motor vehicle record and driving history. Ability to pass required background checks, drug screening, and driver qualification reviews. Ability to use a smartphone and the Amazon Relay app. Strong punctuality, communication, and time-management skills. Willingness to work flexible schedules, including nights, weekends, and holidays when required. Previous tractor-trailer and regional driving experience preferred.
