Regional Class B Driver - HOME TIME

Please do not apply*** CLASS B DRIVER STARTING .50 - .65 PER DEPENDS ON YEARS OF EXPERIENCE CLEAN (CDL) LICENSE HOME TIME MINIMUM 3 YEARS EXPERIENCE 10 YEARS BACKGROUND CHECK - (MUST BE ABLE TO PASS A BACKGROUND TEST) DRUG FREE COMPANY - (MUST BE ABLE TO PASS A DRUG TEST) MUST BE ABLE TO OPERATE ELD (ELECTRONIC LOG DEVICE) MUST BE ABLE TO DRIVE A MANUAL 10 SPEED Inspect vehicles for mechanical items and safety issues and perform preventative maintenance Plan routes and meet delivery schedules Document and log work/rest periods and miles spent driving and retain fuel/toll receipt Comply with truck driving rules and regulations (size, weight, route designations, parking and break periods) as well as with company policies and procedures Maneuver trucks into loading or unloading positions Collect and verify delivery instructions Report defects, accidents or violations Skills Proven work experience as a truck driver Hands on experience with electronic equipment and software (GPS, AVL units, CB etc) Ability to drive long hours and travel regularly Extensive knowledge of applicable truck driving rules and regulations No recent moving or driving violations Adaptability and foresight to handle unexpected situations (traffic, weather conditions etc) Valid truck driving license Job Types: Full-time, Contract Pay: $0.50 - $0.65 per mile Benefits: Fuel card Paid training Trucking Driver Type: Company driver Owner-operator Trucking Route: Dedicated OTR Regional Experience: Driving: 3 years (Required) License/Certification: CDL B (Required) Work Location: In person
