With a rotating schedule of six days on followed by two days off, drivers have a defined work-and-rest cycle while transporting freight on regional routes. The Position at a Glance Pay: $1,500–$1,600 per week Driving: Regional freight operations Schedule: Six consecutive workdays followed by two days off Position: Full-time CDL-A truck driver Freight: General Freight, Dry Vans What You'll Be Doing Your primary responsibility is to move freight safely and efficiently while keeping loads on schedule. Day-to-day duties include: Operating a commercial tractor-trailer on assigned regional routes. Completing pre-trip and post-trip inspections and reporting equipment issues. Following dispatch instructions, planned routes, and pickup and delivery schedules. Communicating with dispatch about load progress, delays, traffic, or unexpected issues. Maintaining accurate trip records, delivery documents, and other required paperwork. Complying with DOT regulations, hours-of-service requirements, and company safety procedures. Handling freight transportation responsibilities professionally at pickup and delivery locations. What We're Looking For Candidates should have: A valid CDL-A. The ability to operate a commercial vehicle safely and responsibly. A commitment to following federal transportation regulations and company safety policies. Reliable communication and the ability to coordinate with dispatch. A professional approach to meeting schedules and completing assigned routes. 1 year of proven driving experience Applicants must also meet the carrier's applicable driver qualification and hiring requirements.
