Perfect Game is looking for Regional Event Directors to own tournament and showcase operations in a designated region. You'll be accountable for each event in your region from start to finish, including planning, staffing, on-site execution and financial close-out. You'll also be expected to grow the region's event portfolio and revenue. This role is for an experienced operator who has run large, multi-venue youth sports events and knows what it takes to keep them on schedule, on budget and running smoothly. You'll report into and work closely with the national Perfect Game Operations team. Key Responsibilities: Event Operations & Execution Direct all phases of tournament and showcase operations, including scheduling, field assignments, staffing, equipment and on-site logistics Serve as the on-site lead during events. Resolve operational issues, weather delays, disputes and escalations in real time Keep the experience professional and consistent for teams, coaches, players, families and college/pro scouts Oversee equipment procurement, merchandise support and warehouse inventory Financial Management Manage event budgets and control costs Process vendor payments and complete post-event inventory and financial reconciliation on time and accurately Negotiate and execute field and facility agreements Staffing & Leadership Recruit, hire, train and manage internal staff and seasonal event staff Build scalable staffing plans that support simultaneous events across multiple sites Set performance expectations and hold staff accountable to operational standards Business Development & Growth Drive regional growth by selling Perfect Game tournaments and events Recruit teams and players for high-profile tournaments and showcases Find and secure new fields, facilities and partnerships to expand event capacity Lead off-season planning for the next year's event calendar Cross-Functional Collaboration Work with Marketing, Operations, Scouting and other internal departments to deliver on-brand events Build strong relationships with team organizations, high school and college coaches, and facility partners Qualifications: Required Minimum 5 years of experience managing large-scale events at a high level, in an operator or director-level role, youth baseball highly preferred Proven track record running multi-day, multi-field tournaments or comparable events with significant attendance Minimum 3 years of experience hiring, scheduling and supervising event staff Hands-on experience with event budgeting, vendor management and contract negotiation Deep knowledge of the game of baseball and the youth/amateur baseball landscape Existing relationships with regional teams, coaches and facility operators highly preferred Sound judgment and composure under pressure, with the ability to make fast, informed decisions on-site Strong organizational, communication and problem-solving skills Ability to travel within the region and nationally, including 2–10 consecutive days away from home Willingness to relocate to the region where the role is most needed Valid driver's license Legally authorized to work in the United States Work Environment This role splits time between the office and the field. It requires frequent evening and weekend work during the season, along with regular regional and national travel.
