Receiving Specialist – Quality Department

Receiving Specialist – Direct Bolt & Supply Full-Time / Part-Time | On-site | Houston, TX 77066 Direct Bolt & Supply is hiring a detail-oriented Receiving Specialist for our Quality team. You'll be the first quality check on every shipment that comes in. You'll make sure product is received correctly, inspected, and put away so orders ship on time. What You'll Do Unload, sort, and stage incoming shipments Check product against purchase orders and packing slips for part number, quantity, and paperwork (MTRs, certs) Receive POs in NetSuite using a handheld scanner Spot and report shortages, overages, wrong items, and damage Do basic visual inspections, and tag and set aside non-conforming product for review Put product away in the correct bin and update its location Keep the dock clean and organized, and help with cycle counts and audits What We're Looking For Strong attention to detail and accuracy Comfortable using a handheld scanner and computer (NetSuite experience a plus) Good communication with Purchasing, Sales, and warehouse leads Warehouse or receiving experience preferred Forklift certification a plus Requirements Must be 18 years of age or older Must have a valid driver's license Able to move packages weighing up to 75 lbs Must be able to commute to Houston, TX 77066 English preferred Work Environment Warehouse/dock setting with regular standing, walking, bending, and lifting Exposure to temperature changes, dust, and forklift traffic Pay: $14.00/hour Schedule: 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM or 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM Job Types: Full-time, Part-time Benefits 401(k) Health insurance Paid time off Direct Bolt & Supply is an ISO 9001 certified company.
