About the Role/What You’ll Do As a Receiving Specialist, you will be the first point of contact welcoming donors, receiving and processing donated goods, and ensuring a positive donation experience, while supporting the efficient flow of materials through our store. This position serves in a fast-paced, outdoor, drive-through environment, and is a physically demanding role involving frequent lifting, carrying, bending, and standing for extended periods. Support the Receiving Lead and store management team in managing the daily flow of donations. Receive, unload, and load donations from vehicles, including lifting and moving heavy items Follow donation guidelines and assess incoming items. Help maximize reuse and recycling opportunities while reducing landfill waste. Deliver exceptional customer service to donors. Support and promote ReSOURCE’s mission in every interaction. Qualifications & Work Environment Self-motivated, positive attitude, able to work as part of a team Excellent communication and customer service skills. Ability to work outdoors in varied weather conditions Frequent lifting and carrying of items up to 50 lbs (more on occasion) Standing, walking, bending, and twisting for extended periods Repetitive lifting throughout the workday in a fast-paced environment Maintain reliable attendance Must be available to work Saturday Fast-paced, high-volume intake environment Requires physical stamina and attention to safety Note: This role is not sedentary and is designed for candidates comfortable with repeated heavy lifting and active movement throughout the day.
