Receiving Lead
Vita Food Products, Inc.Overview As a Receiving Lead, you’ll keep incoming materials moving safely and accurately through warehouse operations. You’ll coordinate shipping and receiving, guide the team through daily priorities, and use inventory management systems and excel worksheets to maintain reliable records. Your work connects warehouse distribution, logistics, and inventory control so teams can access the materials they need. Duties Lead receiving workflows, assign tasks, and communicate priorities clearly with the team and managers. Verify deliveries, scan and record items , and resolve inventory discrepancies. Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment to unload, move, and stage materials safely. Maintain accurate inventory management records using warehouse systems and Microsoft Office tools. Identify process improvement opportunities and apply lean management practices to support efficient distribution center operations. Experience Required: Warehouse experience, including shipping and receiving, materials handling, and safe heavy lifting. forklift certification standup Preferred: Warehouse supervisor experience, team management, or team leadership in warehouse management or distribution center operations. Familiarity with inventory control, inventory management systems, logistics, and warehouse management systems. Ability to operate a forklift and other material handling equipment; follow Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) requirements and site safety procedures. Clear managerial communication and working knowledge of Microsoft Office. Pay: $20.00 - $26.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week Work Location: In person
