Receiving Clerk (Dayshift)

The Royal Group, an affiliate of Schwarz Partners, is currently seeking a Receiving Clerk to support our Lakeland, FL facility. The Receiving Clerk is responsible for Manages incoming shipments by inspecting goods for damage, verifying quantities against purchase orders, and accurately documenting inventory. Serves as the crucial, primary contact for incoming deliveries, ensuring items are properly logged and organized in the warehouse to prevent inventory errors. The Royal Group’s mission is to provide value-added solutions to the most demanding customers. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS FOR THIS POSITION: Receives parts, goods, materials according to Company policies, procedures and needs. Verifies and records all items to be unloaded. Carefully and accurately maintains digital and physical logs for all goods, dunnage and pallets received. Notifies manager of discrepancies, over shipments or substitutions. Ensures that incoming documents and products are complete and accurate and include appropriate bills of lading. Completes information on damage from in-transit carriers. Transports material on shipping dock with equipment as needed and stores in proper spaces. Implements ways to purchase and control inventory with goal to maximize efficiency and optimize machinery up time. Acts as a liaison between vendors, drivers, and internal purchasing departments and schedules appointments for carriers. Maintains a clean and safe workspace. Regular and predictable attendance.
