Job Summary The Receiving Associate supports Esbenshade's e-commerce warehouse operations by helping ensure incoming shipments are received accurately, inspected carefully and organized efficiently for storage and order fulfillment. This is a fast-paced, hands-on role that requires strong attention to detail, dependability, teamwork and the ability to stay active throughout the shift. The ideal candidate is organized, adaptable, comfortable using warehouse systems and committed to maintaining a clean, safe and efficient receiving area. Key Responsibilities Receiving and Inventory Accuracy Unload trucks and receive incoming shipments accurately and efficiently. Inspect incoming products for accuracy, damage and overall condition. Accurately receive inventory into warehouse systems and put products away in assigned locations. Use warehouse software and inventory tools to track, locate and organize products. Identify receiving discrepancies and communicate issues to supervisors in a timely manner. Warehouse Operations and Communication Maintain a clean, organized and efficient receiving area. Communicate professionally with delivery drivers, coworkers and supervisors. Work cooperatively with the warehouse and fulfillment teams to support accurate inventory flow and order fulfillment. Adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced warehouse environment. Assist with other duties assigned by the supervisor or management personnel. Safety and Equipment Follow all company safety procedures and operate equipment safely. Safely use warehouse equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks, as trained and authorized. Maintain awareness of surroundings and help support a safe working environment for all team members. Skills and Qualifications Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Ability to work efficiently and accurately in a fast-paced environment. Basic computer skills; experience with inventory systems is a plus. Experience with Sellercloud and Skustack preferred. Previous warehouse or receiving experience preferred. Strong communication and teamwork skills. Adaptability, dependability and willingness to learn. Work Schedule and Physical Requirements Full-time schedule of approximately 40 to 50 hours per week, based on business needs. Availability required between 6:30 AM and 5:00 PM, Monday through Saturday. Rotating Saturdays are required; associates typically work two Saturdays on and have every third Saturday off. Occasional Sunday shifts may be required based on seasonal business needs. Regularly lift 20 to 30 pounds and occasionally lift 50 to 70 pounds.
