Receiving and Shipping Associate

Overview We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Receiving and Shipping Associate to join our dynamic warehouse team. This role is vital in ensuring smooth logistics operations, accurate inventory management, and timely order fulfillment. Duties Receive incoming shipments, verify quantities, and inspect for damages using RF scanners and warehouse management systems Prepare outgoing shipments by picking, packing, and labeling orders accurately according to shipping & receiving protocols Load and unload trucks efficiently using pallet jacks, forklifts (certification preferred), and other material handling equipment Maintain accurate inventory records through data entry into inventory management software and ERP systems such as AS400 or MRP systems Ensure compliance with trade regulations and shipping logistics standards for domestic and international shipments Organize stock in designated warehouse areas, perform stock rotations, and assist with cycle counts to support inventory accuracy Collaborate with customer service teams to resolve order discrepancies and provide excellent support throughout the order fulfillment process Qualifications Proven experience in warehouse operations, shipping & receiving, or inventory management software Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS), ERP systems (such as AS400), and RF scanners Ability to perform basic math calculations accurately for inventory counts, weights, and measurements Strong knowledge of shipping logistics, trade compliance, international trade regulations, and order picking & packing procedures Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications for data entry, reporting, and communication purposes Valid forklift certification (preferred) along with experience operating pallet jacks and order pickers Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail; ability to work efficiently under pressure Customer service mindset with clear communication skills to coordinate with team members and external partners Join us as a Receiving and Shipping Associate to be part of a dedicated team that keeps our warehouse running smoothly!
