Reach forklift operator

Job Overview Join our dynamic team as a Reach Forklift Operator and become a vital part of our warehouse operations! In this energetic role, you will be responsible for safely operating reach trucks, cherry pickers, and other material handling equipment to efficiently load, unload, and organize inventory within our distribution center. Your expertise will help ensure smooth warehouse flow, accurate order picking, and timely shipping and receiving processes. Responsibilities Safely operate reach trucks, cherry pickers, clamp trucks, pallet jacks, and Hi-Lo forklifts to move materials throughout the warehouse Load and unload shipments with precision, ensuring proper handling of heavy and delicate items Conduct inventory management activities including barcode scanning, stock counting, and updating warehouse management systems (WMS) Pick, pack, and prepare orders accurately for shipment using order picker equipment and manual handling techniques Maintain a clean and organized work environment by adhering to warehouse safety protocols and OSHA standards Perform routine equipment inspections and minor repairs to ensure optimal operation of all material handling equipment Assist with shipping & receiving tasks, including verifying shipments against documentation and managing inbound/outbound logistics Experience Proven experience operating warehouse equipment such as reach trucks, cherry pickers, clamp trucks, and lift trucks (OSHA certification preferred) Strong knowledge of warehouse management systems (WMS), inventory control procedures, and barcode scanning technology Familiarity with warehouse safety standards in production environments and heavy equipment operation protocols Previous warehouse experience involving order picking, materials handling, heavy lifting, and manual handling techniques Ability to perform basic math calculations for inventory counts and shipment documentation Experience in warehouse distribution or logistics operations is highly desirable Demonstrated ability to work efficiently in fast-paced settings while maintaining safety standards Join us to be part of a vibrant team dedicated to excellence in warehouse management!
