Duties Safely load, unload, and transport baggage, cargo, and freight using ground support equipment such as tugs, belt loaders, and forklifts Conduct pre- and post-operation inspections of ground support equipment to ensure proper functioning and maintenance compliance Assist with aircraft marshaling and guiding aircraft on the ramp using two-way radio communication Perform manual handling tasks including heavy lifting of baggage and cargo while following proper safety procedures Track baggage and cargo movements accurately using baggage tracking systems and maintain organized records Follow all Federal Aviation Regulations (FARs), safety protocols, security regulations, and airport procedures during ramp operations Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors in multiple languages including English and Haitian Creole to coordinate tasks efficiently Support airfield equipment maintenance and troubleshoot mechanical issues promptly to minimize downtime Manage materials handling logistics within the warehouse or storage areas related to ramp operations Ensure compliance with airport security measures, baggage screening processes, and safety standards at all times Qualifications Proven experience in airport ramp operations, warehouse work, or outdoor logistics environments is preferred Strong management or supervising experience demonstrating leadership capabilities in fast-paced settings Multilingual skills including fluency in English and Haitian Creole are highly desirable for effective communication Valid commercial driving license with experience operating forklifts and other ground support vehicles Mechanical knowledge related to ground equipment maintenance and basic troubleshooting skills Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and manual handling tasks consistently throughout shifts Familiarity with aviation safety regulations, security protocols, and two-way radio communication systems Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail for baggage tracking and materials handling Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently during busy periods Outdoor work experience in varying weather conditions is a plus Basic math skills for inventory management and operational calculations Customer service orientation with professional communication skills in diverse environments Join us as a Ramp Agent where your energy, leadership, technical expertise, and commitment to safety will help keep our airport operations running smoothly!
