Rail Coordinator III

Position: Rail Coordinator III Position Type: W2 Contract – No Benefits Position Location : Houston, TX Description: This role requires working on a collaborative team with strong communication skills, attention to detail and to interface with external rail vendors as well as internal stakeholders to identify and respond to rail trends, fleet metrics, and future operational requirements. The scope of accountability for the Rail team includes all bulk liquids (Crude Oil and other renewable/non-hydrocarbon feedstocks, Refined Products, Specialty Products, NGLs/LPGs etc.) Requirements: Responsibilities: Perform daily tracking and tracing of P66 rail fleet equipment, maintaining and documenting data in rail tracking system (Transmetrics TMS) and railroad systems. Ensure shipment information is populated within Transmetrics TMS and cars are allocated appropriately. Daily proactive communication with railroads to resolve all types of service issues including First Mile and Last Mile local service. Perform Analysus and Query of rail movement data to build metrics, identify operational cost drivers, trends, and drive optimization improvements.
