Purchasing/Subcontracting Assistant

Description: Job Overview This is a chance to join our growing purchasing team in one of the countries premier medical device manufacturers. You will work within our department where you will help our purchasing manager order, receive and issue components for jobs. You will help update part routings, order new tooling and match invoices to packing slips and undertake any further tasks given by the purchasing manager. Find out more about our company at www.donsonmachine.com Shift Day Shift (7:00AM – 3:30PM, Mon - Fri) Location Alsip, IL Requirements: Qualifications/Requirements High School Degree (or Equivalent) 2 Years Job experience in purchasing or manufacturing (preferred) Be punctual and maintain an excellent attendance record Ability to lift up to 50 lbs Ability to work in a shop environment - continuous exposure to potentially hazardous metal working machinery and equipment, loud noises, dust, mist, oils and solvents. Blueprint reading (Preferred) Computer literate. Will be using Microsoft Office applications; Word, Excel, Outlook.
