Texas Bank and TrustJob Description Job Summary: Responsible for developing and maintaining a purchasing strategy that aligns with the Purchasing policies and procedures. Build and maintain a strong, professional relationship with vendors and internal customers (employees). Provides secure, accurate, responsive, and courteous customer service to both internal and external customers at all times. Maintains strict confidentiality of customer and banking relationships. Primary objective of this position is to be a trusted advisor to every internal and external customer. Inspires confidence and builds lasting relationships by consistently exhibiting each of the trusted advisor skills in order to help our customers identify and achieve their financial goals. Essential Job Functions: Evaluate purchasing system to maintain optimal efficiencies and effective internal controls Evaluation and selection of prospective vendors to management Maintain purchasing agreements with vendors Communicates effectively and professionally with vendors and internal customers to maintain relationships Other Job Functions: Routinely research vendors to identify cost efficiencies and provide recommendations to management Performs routine purchasing duties as back up Oversee projects Other duties as requested by their supervisor or other management representatives of the bank Job Requirements Qualification Requirements: Four-year college degree in the business field is preferred Two years purchasing experience preferred Three years in leadership role Proficient in Microsoft Word & Excel Great interpersonal communication and organizational skills Excellent customer service skills Ability to maintain customer confidentiality Ability to work in a fast-paced environment Ability to work well within a positive team Must be able to perform the essential functions of the job with or without reasonable accommodation. General Physical Demands and Workplace Conditions: Must be able to exert up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and up to 20 pounds of force frequently, and a negligible amount of force constantly to lift, carry, push or pull or otherwise move objects within the immediate workstation. Must be able to walk, sit or stand frequently, up to 50% of the time. Must be able to tolerate encounters with coworkers and customers under the following conditions: atmospheric pollutants or allergens, including but not limited to fumes, odors, dusts, poor ventilation; changes in indoor/outdoor temperatures encountered in travel between buildings and branches.
