We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Purchasing Associate to support our purchasing and supply chain operations. Position Summary The Purchasing Associate supports the purchasing team by helping manage inventory levels, processing purchase orders, coordinating with vendors, and ensuring products are available to meet customer demand. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with data, vendors, and internal teams to keep operations running smoothly. Key Responsibilities Enter purchase orders for pipe, valves, fittings, and related PVF products Track order confirmations, delivery schedules, and backorders Maintain accurate inventory levels and product records Communicate with vendors regarding pricing, availability, and lead times Coordinate with sales and warehouse teams to meet customer demand Monitor inventory reports and assist with stock replenishment Maintain vendor files and purchasing documentation Support cost control and purchasing efficiency initiatives Qualifications Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, or related field preferred 1–3 years of purchasing, inventory, or administrative experience preferred Strong organizational and analytical skills Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and ERP systems Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities Excellent communication and teamwork skills Preferred Experience Experience in industrial distribution, construction supply, or PVF industry Familiarity with inventory management systems or ERP software Experience working with vendor relationships and supply chain coordination Benefits Competitive wage based on experience Health, dental, and vision insurance Paid time off and holidays Opportunities for career growth within the organization How to Apply Interested candidates should submit their resume to: missy@hempelpipe.com Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour Benefits: 401(k) Dental insurance Health insurance Paid time off Vision insurance Work Location: In person
