Purchasing Assistant

Job Description: Trade-Mark Industrial Inc. is a leading multi-trade contractor serving mostly South-Western Ontario, with project reach extending into several US states through our sister company. We operate across electrical, piping, mechanical, millwright, fabrication, machine shop, and sheet metal trades, with a purchasing team that supports both active projects and internal shop operations. Position Summary: This role plays an important part in keeping our purchasing operations running smoothly by ensuring transactions, documentation, and data are accurate and up to date. You’ll work closely with Buyers and Purchasing Coordinators to support a fast-paced, project-driven environment. Job Responsibilities: Receive and processing packing slips Entering and update purchase orders in our procurement system Process credit card transactions and maintain accurate records Handling invoice discrepancies and escalating those above the threshold to the appropriate team member Generate reports and help track outstanding orders and commitments Maintain organized procurement records and documentation Supporting the broader Purchasing team with data entry and administrative tasks as directed and providing backup when needed Requirements: Strong attention to detail and accuracy Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment Ability to stay organized and manage multiple priorities Experience with data entry or procurement systems is an asset Good communication skills; able to follow directions and escalate appropriately Team-oriented with a sense of ownership and accountability Growth Opportunity: This role provides a strong foundation within our Purchasing team.
