Purchasing Agent

Job Description We are a leading distributor of Aerospace fasteners for 40 years. The company seeks an agent for the Purchasing department. The ideal candidate would be an experienced, self-motivated professional who will be responsible for processing purchase orders and developing/maintaining vendor relationships. Primary Duties: · Place orders with vendors · Negotiating pricing/delivery with Vendors · Maintain inventory levels Competencies: · Detail oriented and meticulous · Must have working knowledge of Excel, Word, Outlook · Motivated with strong analytical skills · Ability to manage and follow up on multiple concurrent tasks, requests on tight deadlines · Ability to research information on the internet with ease · Strong written and verbal communication skills · Team Player · Great organizational skills with attention to detail Job Type: Full-time Pay: $55,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year Benefits: 401(k) Dental insurance Health insurance Paid time off Work Location: In person
