Job Overview We are looking for a dependable and detail-oriented Purchaser to join our team in Anaheim. This position will be responsible for purchasing and coordinating materials needed for daily shop operations, while maintaining accurate inventory records and ensuring materials are available when needed. The ideal candidate is highly organized, proactive, and comfortable communicating with vendors, coordinating returns, and keeping close track of inventory. Attention to detail is extremely important, as this position plays a key role in controlling material purchases and maintaining accurate inventory levels. Responsibilities Laminate sheets Stone slabs Shop and production materials Other supplies and materials as needed Communicate with vendors regarding pricing, availability, orders, deliveries, and lead times. Track orders from placement through delivery to ensure materials arrive correctly and on schedule. Coordinate and process material returns, credits, and exchanges. Maintain close oversight of returned items and follow up with vendors as necessary to ensure credits or replacements are received. Maintain accurate and up-to-date inventory records. Regularly monitor inventory levels and identify materials that need to be reordered. Keep the company's inventory list current and organized. Verify materials received against purchase orders and invoices when applicable. Work closely with management and shop personnel to understand material needs and upcoming requirements. Help prevent material shortages, over-ordering, and unnecessary purchasing. Maintain organized purchasing and inventory documentation. Perform other purchasing and inventory-related duties as needed. Experience 2–5 years of purchasing, inventory, procurement, or related experience preferred. Bachelor's degree preferred but not required . Bilingual English/Spanish preferred but not required . Strong organizational and time-management skills. Excellent attention to detail. Strong communication and follow-up skills. Ability to manage multiple orders and priorities at the same time. Comfortable working with vendors and negotiating or resolving purchasing and return issues. Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Quickbooks, Intermediate Microsoft Excel skills preferred. Ability to maintain accurate records and inventory information. Experience working in a manufacturing, millwork, construction, cabinetry, or similar environment is a plus. We are looking for someone who takes ownership of their work. The right person will be proactive about monitoring inventory, tracking orders and returns, identifying potential shortages, and keeping purchasing information organized.
