The company are keen to speak with those currently working for general contractors and are targeting a salary in the range of 70-120k depending on experience. The firm is extremely busy, with numerous live projects as well as a strong pipeline of up and coming sites too. Their focus is that of developing residential units across NY, areas such as Mount Vernon, Bronx, Queens, Yonkers & White Plains. Experience required: Currently working as a Purchasing Agent within a purchasing dept, in the construction industry. Hands on experience and understanding of construction materials. Knowledge of procurement principles & practices. Good organizational skills. Good communication skills. Strong negotiation skills. Experience using Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Word, Excel) Desired Skills and Experience Purchasing agents with construction experience.
