Our Communications Dispatch Center serves as the primary Public Safety Answering Point (PSAP) for all 911 emergency calls, supporting multiple agencies including the Napa Police Department, American Canyon Police Department, Napa County Sheriff’s Department, Napa Fire Department, American Canyon Fire Department, and AMR Ambulance Services. We also coordinate and transfer calls to partner agencies such as Cal Fire, St. Helena Police Department, and Calistoga Police Department making our center a vital hub for emergency response across the region. We are currently seeking a Public Safety Dispatcher Supervisor to lead and support our dedicated team. Dispatchers are the critical link between our community and emergency responders—calmly assessing situations, prioritizing needs, and ensuring the right resources are deployed quickly and effectively. In this leadership role, you will guide and mentor dispatch personnel, foster a high-performing team environment, and use your expertise to shape both daily operations and long-term success. Much of this essential work happens behind the scenes but its impact is felt across the entire community. Driving Principles: The Napa Police Department is unified in Safety, Support, and Service.
