Propane Delivery Driver

Job Overview Join our dynamic team as a Propane Delivery Driver, where you will be the vital link connecting our company with customers by safely and efficiently delivering propane and related products. Your expertise in commercial truck driving and logistics will help us maintain our reputation for reliability and safety in propane delivery. Duties Safely operate propane delivery trucks, adhering to all DOT (Department of Transportation), FMCSA (Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration), and hazardous materials regulations. Plan and execute over-the-road (OTR) driving routes using GPS navigation to ensure timely deliveries across diverse locations. Deliver propane to residential, commercial, and industrial customers with professionalism, accuracy, and excellent customer service skills. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of delivery vehicles to ensure vehicle safety and compliance. Maintain detailed logs of deliveries, fuel consumption, mileage, and safety checks in accordance with DOT regulations. Handle documentation accurately, ensuring proper load securement, especially when transporting dangerous goods like propane. Qualifications Proven experience in delivery driving, especially with freight involving hazardous materials or propane is highly preferred. Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) with endorsements for Hazmat (hazardous materials) transportation and manual transmission operation. Strong knowledge of truck driving regulations including DOT, FMCSA, and hazardous materials regulations. Experience operating flatbeds, tankers, or other specialized trucks is a plus. Skilled in route driving using GPS navigation systems for efficient delivery planning. Ability to manually handle cargo safely while complying with logistics cargo handling standards. Excellent driving record with a focus on safety and compliance on over-the-road routes. Pay: From $24.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week Work Location: In person
