Solve problems. Make an impact. Britespan Building Systems is growing, and we’re looking for an experienced Project Manager to join our Sales Team in Wingham, Ontario. As a Project Manager, you’ll play a key role in managing projects from planning through execution while working closely with customers, sales, engineering, procurement, installers, subcontractors, and internal teams. You’ll take the lead on higher-complexity projects, provide guidance to the project team, and help drive continuous improvement as our business continues to grow. WHAT YOU'LL DO As our Project Manager, you will: Lead and coordinate projects from planning through completion, ensuring schedules, budgets, and milestones stay on track. Develop and maintain key project documentation, including Work Breakdown Structures, project schedules, RACI matrices, material lists, and project files. Review project requirements, scopes of work, contracts, sales orders, specifications, and drawings. Coordinate manpower, subcontractors, trades, suppliers, engineering, procurement, and other internal departments. Maintain regular communication with customers, sales teams, site managers, project coordinators, trades, subcontractors, and other stakeholders. Provide regular project updates and proactively identify and escalate potential delays or issues. Support project sites with day-to-day operations, troubleshooting, and problem-solving. Review and control project schedules and budgets throughout the project lifecycle. Evaluate and recommend design changes, specifications, and drawing releases. Source and secure labour, rental equipment, materials, and other resources to support project efficiency and profitability. Build and maintain strong relationships with subcontractors and project owners. Develop and maintain a regional subcontractor pipeline. Process invoices and maintain accurate project documentation. Monitor safety programs and ensure subcontractors follow company policies and applicable legislation. Visit project sites as required. Assist with recruitment, onboarding, training, and development of future project team members as the department grows. Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, policies, procedures, and technology that support a growing business. WHAT YOU BRING We’re looking for someone who combines construction knowledge, project management experience, organization, and strong problem-solving skills. Your background: 3–5 years of experience in a construction or EPC environment. 3–5 years of experience working with project management software and tools. Post-secondary education in Engineering, Procurement, Construction, or a related EPC discipline. Strong understanding of building concepts and fundamentals. Familiarity with Ontario’s Occupational Health & Safety Act and Regulations. PMP designation is considered an asset. Experience with Microsoft Office, SiteDocs, Fieldwire, or other project management systems is an asset. Your strengths: Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
