Program Manager – Logistics & Transportation, Supply Chain The Program Manager for Logistics & Transportation is responsible for the execution and delivery of plans and management of transportation activities for TerraPower. This role ensures safe, compliant, and on‑schedule delivery of large nuclear components, factory-built modules, and critical equipment to construction sites and customer locations. The Program Manager will oversee multimodal transportation, carrier relationships, logistics procedures, and schedule alignment with project teams for assigned components. Key Responsibilities Logistics Planning & Execution Manage and implement logistics strategies and operational plans to reduce risk, schedule, and cost. Plan and execute transportation of oversized nuclear components, reactor modules, and long‑lead Coordinate multimodal shipments, including road, rail, and barge Facilitate Coordinate route assessments, permitting, escort requirements and other pre-transport activities through 3PL partner. Ensure logistics activities support project milestones, supplier readiness and field execution needs. Carrier & Vendor Management Supports the carrier strategy development and RFP process for supplier selection and contract renewals. Manage relationships with specialized carriers, heavy-haul providers, and logistics partners. Ensure all logistics partners meet nuclear quality, safety, and security Regulatory Compliance Develop and maintain transportation and logistics procedures aligned with applicable regulations (NRC, DOT and other governing authorities). Ensure strict compliance with nuclear transport, safety, and security Coordinate documentation, inspections, and audits related to transport activities. Performance Tracking & Reporting Track logistics KPIs such as on‑time delivery, cost per shipment, damage-free delivery, and schedule adherence and supports the implementation of performance improvement initiatives. Develop corrective action plans to improve logistics performance. Report logistics performance and risks to program and executive Cross ‑ Functional Coordination Partner with suppliers, project teams, and site logistics to align delivery schedules with construction milestones.
