Professional Mover

Job Summary We are seeking an energetic and reliable Professional Mover to join our dynamic team! In this role, you will be the driving force behind seamless relocations, ensuring customers’ belongings are transported safely and efficiently. Your enthusiasm, attention to detail, and strong work ethic will help create positive moving experiences for our clients. As a key member of our moving crew, you’ll handle everything from packing and loading to route driving and unloading, all while maintaining a high standard of customer service. Responsibilities Safely load, secure, and unload customer belongings using appropriate lifting techniques and equipment such as dollies, pallet jacks, or forklifts when necessary Operate various types of trucks, including box trucks and commercial vehicles with automatic transmissions, adhering to all safety regulations and traffic laws Plan and execute efficient routes for timely deliveries and pickups while maintaining excellent customer communication Assist customers with their moving needs by providing friendly service, answering questions, and ensuring a positive experience Use proper manual handling techniques for heavy lifting tasks to prevent injury and ensure the safety of yourself and others Load and unload items carefully to prevent damage; utilize tools like dollies or shoulder straps when applicable Maintain vehicle cleanliness, perform routine inspections, and report any mechanical issues promptly Requirements Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record Proven delivery driver experience with route driving knowledge in busy urban or suburban areas Ability to operate box trucks or similar commercial vehicles with automatic transmission confidently Experience in heavy lifting, moving furniture or large items regularly required Warehouse experience is a plus for understanding loading/unloading procedures and equipment use Customer service skills that foster positive interactions with clients during stressful moves Abillity to use tools confidently Ability to work physically demanding shifts that involve standing, walking, bending, lifting, and manual labor throughout the day Join us if you’re ready to bring energy to every move!
