Production Scheduler

Stryten Energy, manufactures proprietary and custom injection molding products serving the industrial lead battery, automotive and consumer markets. Stryten Energy is expanding battery poly manufacturing and recycling output to help solve industry-wide supply constraints. The Production Scheduler will develop and maintain production schedules for Finished Goods (FG) and Work in Process (WIP) using IQMS. Coordinate customer demand, production capacity, material availability, and operational priorities to support On-Time Delivery (OTD) and maximize manufacturing efficiency. Develop, maintain, and execute production schedules for Finished Goods (FG) and Work in Process (WIP) injection molding operations using IQMS. Review customer demand, open orders, inventory levels, production capacity, and material availability to establish production priorities. Monitor and support On-Time Delivery (OTD) performance by identifying potential shortages, capacity constraints, and schedule risks before they impact customer shipments. Maintain regular communication with Production regarding schedule priorities, press availability, production performance, downtime, changeovers, and other conditions affecting the production plan. Adjust production schedules as conditions change while minimizing unnecessary disruption to manufacturing operations. Evaluate customer requests for pull-ahead orders and orders requested inside standard lead time. Provide Customer Service with realistic production and shipment timing for pull-ahead and short-lead-time requests. Communicate schedule changes, risks, delays, and recovery plans to appropriate internal stakeholders. Coordinate with Purchasing and Materials to identify component or raw-material constraints that could affect scheduled production. Review WIP and FG inventory to support appropriate inventory levels while meeting customer requirements. Identify opportunities to improve production sequencing, capacity utilization, changeover efficiency, and overall schedule stability. Participate in daily production and operational meetings and provide clear updates regarding schedule status, priorities, constraints, and customer requirements. Host or facilitate scheduling-related meetings as required. Maintain accurate scheduling and production information within IQMS. Support root-cause analysis and corrective actions related to scheduling issues, missed production requirements, and OTD performance. Work cross-functionally with Production, Customer Service, Materials, Quality, Shipping, and other departments to resolve issues affecting customer delivery. Support continuous-improvement initiatives related to production planning, scheduling, inventory, and material flow. Maintain an organized work area and actively participate in 5S activities and standards. Follow all company safety, quality, and operational policies and procedures. Perform other duties as assigned to support plant and customer requirements. Education, Expereince Previous experience in production scheduling, planning, materials, manufacturing, or a related role preferred. Experience scheduling injection molding or other high-volume manufacturing operations strongly preferred. Experience with IQMS/DELMIAWorks preferred. Knowledge, Skills, Abilities Strong understanding of production planning, capacity, inventory, WIP, and customer delivery requirements. Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Excel and manufacturing/ERP systems. Ability to analyze information, establish priorities, and make timely decisions in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and changing requirements. Effective written and verbal communication skills. Ability to communicate professionally with Production, Customer Service, leadership, and other cross-functional partners. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
