Position Summary: We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Production Planning & Inventory Coordinator to support our manufacturing operations. This role is responsible for coordinating production schedules, ordering materials and supplies, monitoring inventory levels, and ensuring materials are available to meet production demands. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years of experience in production scheduling, purchasing, inventory management, or a related manufacturing role. This position reports directly to Shane Bunker and works closely with production, shipping, receiving, and management teams. What You’ll Do Production Planning & Scheduling Develop, maintain, and update daily and weekly production schedules Coordinate with production supervisors and department leads to prioritize work orders Monitor production progress and communicate scheduling changes or delays Help ensure production deadlines and customer delivery requirements are met Identify potential scheduling conflicts, material shortages, and production bottlenecks Maintain accurate production records and scheduling documentation Purchasing & Material Ordering Order raw materials, components, and supplies needed for production Monitor material requirements and ensure timely ordering to prevent production delays Communicate with vendors regarding pricing, availability, and delivery schedules Track purchase orders and follow up on outstanding or delayed shipments Coordinate with production personnel to identify upcoming material needs Assist with resolving material shortages and purchasing discrepancies Inventory Management Monitor inventory levels and maintain accurate inventory records Assist with inventory counts, cycle counts, and inventory reconciliation Identify inventory shortages and coordinate replenishment Track incoming materials and coordinate with shipping and receiving personnel Investigate inventory discrepancies and communicate findings to management Support inventory organization and process improvements General Operations Support Maintain accurate records in inventory management and ERP systems Prepare production, purchasing, and inventory reports as needed Communicate effectively with production, shipping, receiving, and management teams Assist with improving scheduling, ordering, and inventory processes Provide administrative and operational support to the production team Assist with additional responsibilities as needed to keep operations running smoothly What We’re Looking For Minimum 2 years of experience in production scheduling, purchasing, inventory management, or a related manufacturing role High school diploma or GED required Strong organizational and multitasking skills High attention to detail and accuracy Experience ordering materials, tracking purchase orders, and maintaining inventory records Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and general office software Experience with inventory management or ERP systems; NetSuite experience is a plus Strong communication and problem-solving skills Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines Comfortable working in a fast-paced, team-oriented manufacturing environment Ability to work independently and coordinate across multiple departments Willingness to learn and take on additional responsibilities as …
