Production Palletizer

PRODUCTION WORKER (PALLETIZER) KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES: Responsible for managing automated machinery and manual processes to stack, wrap, and prepare finished products for shipping. Primary Report: Production Supervisor(s) in the same shift Secondary Report: To other Production Supervisors if primary is not available. RESPONSIBILITIES Manually stack finished products onto pallets according to company standards and customer requirements. Inspect products and packaging for quality, damage, and labeling accuracy before palletizing. Ensure pallets are built safely, securely, and efficiently to prevent product damage during transport. Apply stretch wrap, corner boards, labels, and other packaging materials as required. Move products and pallets using manual pallet jacks or other approved equipment. Maintain production flow by removing completed pallets and preparing work areas for continuous operations. Follow all food safety, quality assurance, and workplace health and safety procedures. Keep the work area clean, organized, and free from hazards. Report damaged products, equipment issues, or safety concerns to supervisors promptly. Assist with general production, packaging, and warehouse duties as required. Work collaboratively with team members to meet production targets and shipping schedules. Perform repetitive lifting, bending, and standing throughout the shift while following safe lifting practices. Other duties as assigned PREFERRED SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS Previous experience in a manufacturing, bakery, warehouse, or production environment is an asset. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly and perform physically demanding work. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality. Reliable, punctual, and able to work in a fast-paced environment. Ability to follow instructions and work effectively as part of a team. Basic knowledge of workplace safety practices. PHYSICAL DEMANDS: The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. Manual dexterity and utilization of both hands and all fingers is required. The employee is frequently required to twist, bend and stoop. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 20kgs and lift and/or move more than 20kgs with the aid of a co-worker. The employee must push/pull product racks, manual or automated pallet jacks and other equipment. Frequent flexing, extending, and turning of the neck and head are required. WORK CONDITIONS: Exposure to noisy, dusty, refrigerated, and hot environments.
