Production Manager – Winter Operations Superb Group Inc. is a leading snow removal and landscaping company based in Guelph, proudly serving Commercial, Industrial, and Condominium properties throughout Guelph, Kitchener/Waterloo, and Cambridge. We’re looking for an experienced and driven Production Manager – Winter Operations to join our team and play a key role in the successful delivery of our winter services. This position is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, can lead a team effectively, and is confident making quick decisions when weather conditions change. This is a full-time seasonal position running from November 15 to April 15 , with the potential for year-round employment for the right candidate. What You'll Do Oversee and coordinate daily winter operations, including snow removal and ice control for commercial, industrial, and condominium properties. Lead and supervise snow plow operators, salt truck operators, sidewalk crews, and other winter staff. Develop and coordinate efficient routes, schedules, and operational plans to ensure properties are serviced safely and on time. Monitor weather forecasts and make timely operational decisions based on changing conditions. Conduct regular site, equipment, and operational inspections to ensure work is being completed safely and to Superb’s standards. Ensure snow and ice removal equipment is properly maintained, operational, and ready for each event. Monitor inventory and coordinate the procurement of salt, de-icing materials, fuel, and other winter supplies. Communicate with clients and address service concerns or operational issues professionally and efficiently. Maintain accurate operational records, equipment logs, service documentation, and event reports. Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, productivity, and overall winter operations. Work closely with management to ensure winter operations run smoothly and company standards are consistently met. Respond to winter events and operational needs outside of regular daytime hours as required. What You Bring Previous management or supervisory experience in snow removal, landscaping, property maintenance, or a similar field. Strong knowledge of winter operations, snow removal equipment, and ice control practices. Proven ability to lead, motivate, and manage a team in a fast-paced environment. Excellent organizational and time-management skills. Ability to make quick, practical decisions in response to changing weather and operational conditions. Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach. Excellent communication and client-service skills. Comfortable using technology, including smartphones, tablets, GPS, and operational software. Valid G driver's licence with a clean driving record and the ability to legally drive in Ontario. Ability to work outdoors in winter conditions and handle the demands of a seasonal winter operation. Flexibility to work extended hours, early mornings, overnight events, weekends, and holidays when required by winter weather. What We Offer Competitive salary based on experience.
