Production Manager
JED Pool ToolsJob Overview The Production Manager at JED Pool Tools is responsible for coordinating and overseeing the day-to-day manufacturing operations to ensure that production targets are met safely, efficiently, and in accordance with quality standards. Reporting to the President, the Production Manager executes production schedules, manages production staff, and continually strives to optimize the business’ manufacturing processes. Key Responsibilities Leads and oversees daily manufacturing operations to meet production goals, quality expectations, and customer delivery timelines. Responsible for day-to-day production scheduling. Supervises and aids in the development of production team members, promoting a culture of accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement. Monitors production performance metrics and initiates corrective actions for deviations in output, quality, or efficiency. Coordinates and works closely with production planning, logistics, and procurement to ensure material availability and production flow alignment. Works closely with the Technical Manager to implement root cause analysis, corrective actions, and preventative measures for production issues. Ensures compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations on the production floor. Maintains accurate production records, reports, and documentation. Familiarity with ERP systems is preferred, with proficiency in Infor CSI/SyteLine considered a bonus for effectively executing key responsibilities. Required Qualifications ● Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing, Business, or related field (equivalent experience). ● 3-5 years of manufacturing or production management experience. ● Strong understanding of resource allocation, workflow management, and supervision. ● Working knowledge of quality control, safety standards, and continuous improvement methodologies. ● Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365. Preferred Qualifications ● Familiarity with ISO, OSHA, or other industry standards and regulations. ● APICS-CPIM Lean/Six Sigma Certification Pay: $55,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year Benefits: 401(k) Dental insurance Health insurance Vision insurance Work Location: In person
