Production Inventory Clerk

Job Summary The inventory clerk is responsible for maintaining inventory and accountability of all material in the middle, corrugated and back warehouse. This position will serve to maximize space in the warehouses as well as pull inventory for production with the use of a handheld computer/scanner. The inventory clerk will be expected to alert the Purchasing department when stock is at critical reorder points. Data analysis and inventory research will be needed on a frequent basis. Schedule working hours are 5:00am - 3:00pm Responsibilities · Utilization of the KEYCHAIN system · Assist production 1st and 2nd shift with pulling and staging all raw material items needed (wrappers, bags, boxes, cases, etc.) · Perform daily consumptions in KEYCHAIN · Counting the number of impressions or individual counts on bags, corrugated, and folding carton items. This will be the raw material items entering production and returning to warehouses · Assist in maintaining proper inventory levels, including coordination with the purchasing department in order to maintain ideal inventory levels · Ensure inventories are put in proper places and keeping metal racking properly stocked · Maintain raw material inventory via weekly cycle counts · Assist with counting of physical inventory · Report any discrepancies on raw material to supervisor and or purchasing department · Assist management/supervisor as directed · Middle room must be kept clean at all times, this will include regular sweeping and scrubbing of the floors · As needed, this position would assist in the unloading of all raw material deliveries · Must be able to operate a forklift and pallet jack and have passed forklift certification · Assist in completing put away from previous received goods Requirements · Must be able to walk or stand for at least a period of 8 hours, bend, walk, and lift up to 50 pounds. · Must be able to operate a forklift/pallet jack/general warehouse equipment · Prior warehouse/inventory control & hand held scanner/computer experience is a plus · Experience with Microsoft Office, especially Microsoft Excel · Strong analytical and mathematical skills · Strong work ethic · Team player, able to understand written and verbal instructions, able to work independently or with little to no supervision · Candidates should have working knowledge of Atkinson products and all raw material items Pay: $15.50 per hour Expected hours: 45.0 per week Benefits: 401(k) 401(k) matching Dental insurance Employee discount Health insurance Life insurance Paid time off Vision insurance Experience: Warehouse/Inventory: 2 years (Required) Forklift: 1 year (Required) Language: English (Required) Work Location: In person
