As a Production Control – Order Picker, you’ll help process orders, prepare parts for shipment, and keep materials moving accurately. What you’ll do Process orders using our EPNS order-processing system. Assist the Production Control Specialist with preparing and shipping pre-production parts. Follow Kanban practices to support accurate order processing and material flow. Assist with checking new-part quality and report concerns to the appropriate team members. Keep your work area clean and organized using 5S practices. Communicate order discrepancies, shipment issues, and delays promptly. Follow safety procedures and wear required personal protective equipment. Perform other related duties as assigned. What you’ll bring A high school diploma or GED. Some shipping and receiving experience; 1–2 years of recent manufacturing experience is preferred. Strong attention to detail and the ability to work independently while following established procedures. An understanding of Kanban and 5S—or the ability to learn them quickly. Willingness to learn and use the EPNS system. Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to speak, write, and understand English fluently. What to expect This is a physically active position in a manufacturing environment. You’ll stand, walk, and move throughout most of the workday, perform repetitive handling tasks, bend, and use a computer. The role involves lifting and moving loads typically weighing 25–50 pounds or more. Work areas include the shop floor and shipping/receiving dock, with exposure to noise, varying temperatures, and a fast-paced environment. Required PPE may include safety glasses, protective headwear, steel-toe footwear, and gloves.
