Product Manager, Sourcing and Procurement - Senior Consultant - Products and Platforms

Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and strategic Product Manager, Sourcing and Procurement - Senior Consultant, to lead the development and management of innovative products and platforms within our sourcing and procurement functions. Responsibilities Lead end-to-end product development lifecycle for sourcing and procurement platforms, ensuring alignment with strategic business goals. Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including engineering, data analytics, and stakeholder groups to gather requirements, define product strategy, and prioritize features. Manage product backlogs using Agile tools such as Jira, VersionOne, or TFS; facilitate sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives in accordance with Scrum or SAFe frameworks. Drive requirements gathering through stakeholder engagement, analysis skills, wireframing (using Balsamiq or UML), and system design documentation. Oversee technical product development involving APIs, SaaS solutions, databases (SQL), mobile applications, and IT infrastructure components. Coordinate with engineering teams on software development best practices including SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle), Agile planning, version control (Git), and user acceptance testing. Utilize data analytics tools like Looker or SQL queries to inform product decisions; develop test cases to ensure quality assurance. Manage project timelines using project management software such as Microsoft Project or similar tools; ensure timely delivery of product milestones. Facilitate stakeholder communication across B2B sales channels and internal teams; promote collaboration to achieve shared objectives. Ensure compliance with IT governance standards while implementing innovative solutions that support organizational growth. Experience Proven experience in product management within sourcing, procurement, or supply chain domains; familiarity with SaaS platforms is highly desirable. Strong technical background with proficiency in AWS cloud services, APIs integration, HTML, Java, UML modeling, and system development products management. Hands-on experience with Agile software development methodologies including Scrum and SAFe; familiarity with project management tools like Jira, VersionOne, TFS. Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams in complex product development projects involving databases (SQL), IT infrastructure, mobile applications, and IoT solutions. Excellent stakeholder management skills with a track record of translating business needs into technical requirements through analysis skills and wireframing techniques. Knowledge of project management methodologies such as Waterfall combined with Agile planning approaches; experience managing requirements design and user acceptance testing processes.
