Dynamic ManufacturingUnder the direction of the Operations Manager, the Product Line Manager will exhibit a strong understanding of information flow and product flow within a manufacturing environment. Manage production schedules to meet customer requirements, cost and quality goals. Including interfacing with quality, supply chain, HR and other disciplines to achieve goals. Facilitate team communication and conflict resolution including team learning of process or interpersonal skills. Develop, recommend, and implement initiatives to improve production metrics and financial performance. Lead the production line function by collaboratively overseeing all other aspects of the production environment including: safety culture, quality, developing subordinates, maintenance, interfacing with customers, and financial results. Contribute to the success of Dynamic’s business by sharing information and applying company-wide best practices. Evaluates manufacturing processes by designing and conducting research programs; applying knowledge of product design, fabrication, assembly; conferring with equipment vendors; soliciting observations from operators. Improves manufacturing efficiency by analyzing and planning work flow, space requirements, and equipment layout. Assures product and process quality by testing finished product and process capabilities; establishing standards; confirming manufacturing processes. Provides manufacturing decision-making information by calculating production, labor, and material costs; reviewing production schedules; estimating future requirements. Keeps equipment operational by coordinating maintenance and repair services; following manufacturer's instructions and established procedures; requesting special service. Oversees design and development projects while ensuring training of technicians. Oversees installation to ensure tools and equipment are installed and functioning according to the needs of the product. Plan, organize, direct and run optimum day-to-day operations to meet our customers’ expectations Increase production, assets capacity and flexibility while minimizing unnecessary costs and maintaining current quality standards Implement strategies in alignment with strategic initiatives and provide a clear sense of direction and focus Monitor operations and trigger corrective actions Share a trusting relationship with workgroup and recruit, manage and develop plant staff Collect and analyze data to find places of waste and/or overtime WORK APTITUDES: Drives the improvement of processes and systems in the product line. Analyzes problems and follow through with solutions Sets priorities in front of multiple requests Accepts direction and assumes responsibility Has positive outlook and is willing to assume new assignments and additional duties QUALIFICATIONS: Associate’s Degree or equivalent experience Proven managerial experience Adequate knowledge of business and management principles (budgeting, strategic planning, financials, resource allocation and human resources) Familiarity with industry standard equipment and technical expertise Be knowledgeable of safety, quality, productivity, demand creation, inventory and stewardship processes Strong team building, decision-making and people management skills Ability to create accountability and to lead by example Organizational and time management skills Strong verbal and written communication skills.
