Procurement Specialist - II

ELM Microgrid is a leading provider and manufacturer of turnkey battery energy storage solutions (BESS) for commercial and utility-scale projects. Our systems range from 125 kW to 50 MW and are designed to meet today’s energy needs with reliable, scalable technology. Our CMG2 and MG2 Series platforms are powered by the proprietary FieldSight Controller, which supports advanced optimization, real-time monitoring, and on-grid and off-grid integration. We are seeking an experienced Procurement Specialist II to support day-to-day procurement and supply chain operations. This role will manage purchasing activities for materials and services, review vendor quotes, coordinate receiving, support inventory management, and track orders through delivery. The ideal candidate has experience in procurement and manufacturing operations and can manage competing priorities while maintaining accurate records and strong supplier relationships. This is an in-person position based in The Colony, Texas . ELM Microgrid is unable to provide employment visa sponsorship for this position. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, business, management, engineering, or a related field; an equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered. 2–5 years of experience in supply chain management, procurement, and/or manufacturing operations. Knowledge of procurement policies and procedures, competitive bidding, vendor selection, and purchase order processing. Experience reviewing vendor quotations, analyzing costs, negotiating pricing, and monitoring supplier performance. Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and experience using an enterprise resource planning (ERP) or procurement management system. Strong analytical, organizational, communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills. Ability to manage multiple purchasing activities, meet deadlines, maintain accurate records, and follow applicable policies and regulations. Experience with Acumatica ERP is a plus.
