Procurement Specialist

Responsibilities: POSITION SUMMARY & RESPONSIBILITIES: Procurement Specialist (Central Region), will develop and execute sourcing strategies that optimize company spending, improve supplier performance, ensure continuity of supply, mitigate commercial risk, and deliver measurable value to DEC’s operations. Responsibilities may include sourcing and supplier/vendor management activities related to: Water hauling services Chemicals & treating products Compression services Lubricants & coolants MRO materials Rental equipment Construction services Environmental services Transportation & logistics services Capital project materials and services Workover support services Drilling support services Field Services The Procurement Specialist (Central Region) will serve as a trusted business partner to regional operations teams by leading strategic sourcing initiatives, managing key supplier relationships, negotiating commercial agreements, identifying value creation opportunities, and supporting safe, reliable, and cost-effective operations across designated Central Region. Qualifications: POSITION REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor Degree in Business, Procurement, Supply Chain, or related discipline. 5+ years of Procurement or Supply Chain experience. 3+ years of Oil & Gas industry or energy sector experience. Experience leading strategic sourcing initiatives and cross-functional sourcing teams. Experience developing RFPs, RFQs, conducting competitive bid events, evaluating proposals, negotiating contracts, and managing supplier relationships. Strong analytical, negotiation, communication, and organizational skills. Ability to travel within designated working territory. PREFERED QUALIFICATIONS Experience negotiating Master Service Agreements. Experience with supplier performance management programs. Experience with Power BI. Experience with Open Ticket, Open Invoice, Grafana, Wellview, and ISN. Professional certifications such as CPSM, CPM, CPSD, or equivalent. (Preferred) SYSTEMS & ANALYTICAL TOOLS Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Teams, One Drive, Word, and PowerPoint. Advance proficiency in Microsoft Excel including pivot tables, lookups and data analysis. Prefer experience with Power BI dashboards, Open Ticket, Open Invoice, Grafana, Wellview & ISN. POSITION LOCATION / TYPE Procurement Specialist position is assigned a company vehicle and will be expected to operate out of DEC’s office locations in: Weatherford, OK and or Kingfisher, OK. Physical Requirements and Working Conditions: Prolonged periods working at a desk in front of a computer. Additional Requirements: Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at a time.
