Procurement Specialist

. Job overview: The Procurement Specialist is responsible for supporting sourcing, negotiating, and procuring materials, equipment, and services required for project execution. This role ensures effective purchasing support while aligning with company policies and project requirements. General Responsibilities: Procurement & Sourcing Assist in identifying, evaluating, and selecting suppliers based on cost, quality, lead time, and reliability Support sourcing of raw materials, equipment, and services for company projects Assist in requesting and analyzing quotes (RFQs, bids, and proposals) for cost-effective purchasing Support maintaining supplier relationships to ensure supply stability Supplier & Vendor Management Assist in supplier communication and basic coordination Support contract terms, payment terms, and supplier documentation handling Help monitor supplier performance, quality, and delivery schedules Purchase Order Management Create and process purchase orders (POs) in the procurement system Assist coordination with warehouse and related teams to ensure proper receiving and inventory tracking Cost Control & Budgeting Assist in tracking procurement spending data Support basic cost analysis and budget tracking reports Compliance & Coordination Support procurement activities in compliance with company policies and industry standards Assist in maintaining accurate procurement records for audit and compliance purposes Coordinate with cross-functional teams to support procurement needs across projects Assist in supplier onboarding and basic qualification processes Qualification: Must Have: 1 year of procurement, purchasing, logistic, supply chain experience. Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field Basic knowledge of ERP systems or procurement tools Understanding of procurement processes and supply chain fundamentals Nice to Have: Bilingual ability (Mandarin & English) Understanding of semiconductor or construction-related materials and equipment Benefits 100% Paid Benefits for the Employee , including Medical, Dental, Vision, and Life Insurance Paid Time Off (PTO) 401(k) Plan Work Environment This role may involve a combination of office-based engineering coordination and project site support. The Permit / Design Engineer may work with construction teams, contractors, client representatives, and regulatory authorities to support active semiconductor facility projects. The position requires the ability to manage shifting priorities, respond to urgent project needs, and maintain accurate documentation in a fast-paced construction and engineering environment.
