Position Overview We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Procurement Specialist to join our team in Rexburg, Idaho. This role supports the sourcing, purchasing, and vendor coordination processes across active single-family, multifamily, residential, and commercial projects. The Procurement Specialist works closely with the Estimator, Project Managers, and Superintendents to ensure material pricing, scope alignment, and purchasing execution remain consistent from pre-construction through project completion. This position plays an important role in maintaining organized procurement systems and supporting schedule integrity across multiple projects. The ideal candidate is proactive, dependable, and confident communicating with vendors while managing multiple tasks and deadlines. Key Responsibilities · Source and request bids from suppliers and material vendors · Compare pricing and assist Project Managers with vendor selection · Coordinate with the Estimator to ensure awarded vendor pricing aligns with project budgets and scope · Assist in confirming material quantities and specifications based on plans and takeoffs · Issue and manage purchase orders in coordination with Project Managers · Track material lead times and proactively communicate potential delays · Coordinate deliveries to align with project schedules · Maintain vendor files including insurance certificates, W-9s, and required documentation · Maintain organized procurement tracking logs and documentation · Ensure purchase orders align with approved budgets and job cost structures · Collaborate with accounting to support invoice matching and cost tracking · Support single-family and multifamily residential, and commercial project purchasing needs Qualifications · 2 to 5 years of purchasing, procurement, project coordination, or construction-related experience preferred · Associate or bachelor’s degree in construction management, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field preferred (Equivalent construction purchasing or project coordination experience will be considered in lieu of degree) · Experience in single-family and multifamily residential, and/or commercial construction strongly preferred · Strong organizational and time management skills · Ability to read and interpret construction plans and specifications preferred · Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel required) · Familiarity with JobTread, Monday.com, or similar software · Professional written and verbal communication skills · Ability to manage multiple active projects simultaneously What Success Looks Like · Materials are ordered accurately and delivered on schedule · Purchase orders are properly documented and aligned with budgets · Vendor communication is clear and timely · Coordination between Estimating, Project Management, and Field teams is seamless · Procurement documentation is organized and easy to track Why Join Us? · Competitive pay (DOE) · Paid Time Off available for full-time employees following successful completion of the 90-day review period · Opportunity to gr…
