ConfidentialOverview We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Procurement Specialist to join our team and drive strategic sourcing, vendor management, and procurement operations. In this role, you will be instrumental in optimizing supply chain processes, managing procurement experience 8-30 yrscontracts, and ensuring compliance with procurement regulations. Your expertise will support the organization’s goals by fostering strong supplier relationships and delivering cost-effective procurement solutions. Responsibilities Manage end-to-end procurement processes, including sourcing, purchasing, and contract negotiations across various categories. Utilize ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle EBS, and E-procurement platforms to streamline procurement workflows and maintain accurate records. Conduct market research and supplier assessments to identify optimal sourcing options aligned with organizational needs. Negotiate contracts with vendors to secure favorable pricing, terms, and service levels while ensuring compliance with procurement regulations such as Federal Acquisition Regulations. Collaborate cross-functionally with project teams, supply chain management, and finance to align procurement strategies with organizational goals. Perform root cause analysis to resolve supply chain issues, improve procurement efficiency, and enhance quality management practices. Maintain comprehensive vendor contract management records, monitor supplier performance, and manage supplier relationships effectively. Qualifications Proven experience in procurement management within public sector or federal environments is preferred. Strong familiarity with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle EBS, and other e-procurement tools. GED HIGH SCHOOL DIPLOMA Certifications Referrals Demonstrated expertise in contract negotiation, strategic sourcing, category management, and procurement contract management. Knowledge of procurement regulatory frameworks including Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) is highly desirable. Excellent negotiation skills combined with the ability to conduct direct negotiations for procurement contracts. Experience in supply chain management, materials management, and pricing strategies. Strong project management skills with the ability to handle multiple priorities efficiently. Effective communication skills for cross-functional collaboration and vendor engagement.
