What You Will Be Doing: Key responsibilities of this position: procurement/contract administration. Minimum Qualifications Procurement Specialist 2 – Starting Salary $2059.50 Any combination of education and/or experience that provides the applicant with competencies in Analytical Thinking/Problem Solving: uses a logical, systematic, sequential approach to address problems or opportunities or manage a situation by drawing on one’s knowledge and experience base and calling on other references and resources as necessary. Computer Skills: Uses computers, software applications, databases, and automated systems to accomplish work. Contracting/Procurement/Property Control: Knowledge of various types of contracts, techniques, or requirements for contracting or procurement, contract negotiation and administration; procedures for routine and non-routine purchases; practices and methods used for property control activities, including acquisition, storage, accounting, and controlled property excess.
