Summary/Objective: The Procurement Manager has a strong background in procurement, sourcing, and vendor management. Essential Functions: Procurement Manager oversees the end-to-end procurement process, including sourcing, negotiating contracts, and managing vendor relationships to ensure cost-effective, high-quality materials and services. Develop and implement procurement strategies aligned with company goals, maintaining optimal inventory levels and minimizing supply chain disruptions. Collaborate with internal teams to forecast demand, plan purchasing needs, and ensure timely delivery of materials. Monitor supplier performance, resolve issues, and conduct regular evaluations to ensure compliance with quality standards and contract terms. Analyze market trends and supplier capabilities to identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements, while mitigating risks to the supply chain. Ensure compliance with procurement policies, industry regulations, and ethical sourcing practices. Responsibilities/Skills/Abilities: Utilizes independent judgment to assess supplier capabilities, negotiate terms, and make strategic procurement decisions that align with organizational objectives and market conditions. Has authority to make decisions on supplier selection, contract terms, pricing negotiations, and inventory management strategies to ensure costeffective and efficient procurement processes. Manage and oversee the entire procurement process, including supplier selection, negotiation, and purchasing. Develop and execute procurement strategies that align with company goals, optimizing cost, quality, and delivery. Monitor supplier performance, resolve issues, and maintain strong, collaborative relationships with key vendors. Collaborate with internal departments (e.g., production, sales, and finance) to determine material needs and ensure timely delivery. Conduct market research to identify potential suppliers, evaluate bids, and secure the best pricing and contract terms. Maintain accurate records of procurement activities, contracts, and supplier agreements. Analyze procurement data to forecast demand, manage inventory, and optimize resource allocation. Ensure compliance with procurement policies, industry regulations, and sustainability practices. Implement continuous improvement initiatives to streamline procurement processes and reduce costs. Negotiate and manage contracts, ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements. Strong analytical skills to evaluate supplier performance, assess market trends, and make datadriven decisions.
