Procurement Manager

An established global manufacturer is seeking a Procurement Manager in Carol Stream, Illinois to develop and execute category strategies, strengthen supplier performance, negotiate strategic agreements, and drive supply continuity and cost optimization initiatives. Candidates Must Have: Must have experience sourcing electronic components. 10+ years of category management and strategic procurement experience across direct and indirect spend. Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Engineering, Business Management, or a related field. Proven leadership with strong analytical, communication, and project management skills. Experience leading complex sourcing initiatives and influencing cross-functional teams to drive business results. Strong knowledge of procurement best practices, strategic sourcing, and supplier management. Experience applying Lean manufacturing principles to optimize supply chain performance. Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel; Microsoft Project experience preferred.
