Procurement Manager 2

For our client, we are seeking a Procurement Manager 2 to join the team of a leader in the Aerospace & Defense space. This role will oversee procurement execution for a remote team supporting complex programs and supplier relationships in a highly regulated environment. The position will focus on driving performance across delivery, quality, and cost while aligning purchasing activity with broader organizational objectives. You will lead negotiations, coordinate priorities across functions, and help strengthen supply continuity and commercial outcomes. Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available Compensation: $121,000 – $181,600 annually Responsibilities Supervise and manage a team of approximately 10 direct reports in procurement activities Evaluate supplier delivery, quality, and cost performance Develop and maintain strategic supplier relationships Execute negotiations for long-term agreements and high-dollar contracts Identify opportunities for cross-divisional strategies and align team goals with sector objectives Plan and coordinate activities to meet procurement objectives Communicate risks and opportunities effectively Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree with 5 years of relevant experience, or a Master’s Degree with 3 years of relevant experience, or a High School Diploma with 9 years of experience in related fields Minimum of 2 years of experience leading a team, process, or projects Experience in Procurement or Subcontracts is required Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government Secret clearance Strong organizational and communication skills Benefits Flexible work arrangements including a 9/80 work schedule with every other Friday off Opportunities for professional development and exposure to diverse projects Friendly team environment that promotes engagement and cooperation Health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, and a savings plan Paid time off (PTO) for vacation and personal business Our client is an equal opportunity employer.
