2058998 Ontario Inc. dba CT BakeryThe Procurement & Inventory Coordinator is responsible for coordinating purchasing activities, inventory control, and material availability to support manufacturing operations. This role coordinates the timely procurement of raw materials, packaging, production supplies, and other operational materials while maintaining accurate inventory records and supporting uninterrupted production. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Coordinate the purchasing of raw materials, packaging, production supplies, and other operational materials based on production requirements and inventory levels. Maintain accurate purchasing records, supplier information, purchase orders, and related documentation. Assist with supplier evaluations and support the maintenance of effective vendor relationships. Identify opportunities to improve purchasing processes, supplier service, and purchasing efficiency. Support effective stock control, material organization, and inventory management practices. Maintain accurate documentation related to inventory movements, adjustments, and reconciliations. Review material requirements and communicate potential shortages or supply concerns in advance. Coordinate the availability and movement of materials to support production requirements. Assist with resolving material shortages, delivery issues, and other supply-related concerns. Support month-end inventory activities and provide required information to Finance and management. Prepare and maintain routine purchasing and inventory reports as required. Review inventory and purchasing information to identify trends, discrepancies, and potential areas for improvement. Support improvements to procurement, inventory control, and material flow processes. Maintain required documentation and records in accordance with company requirements. Report material, inventory, safety, or quality concerns to the appropriate department or manager. Other duties as assigned QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE Previous experience in procurement, purchasing, inventory control, materials coordination, or a related role within a manufacturing environment. Strong understanding of purchasing, inventory control, and material management processes. Experience working with ERP, purchasing, or inventory management systems. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel. Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines. Strong communication and follow-up skills when working with suppliers and internal departments. Good analytical and problem-solving abilities. High attention to detail and accuracy. Ability to work independently while maintaining effective communication with cross-functional teams. WORKING CONDITIONS Work is performed in a combination of office, warehouse, and manufacturing environments. Regular interaction with Production, Warehouse, Operations, Finance, suppliers, and other internal departments. May require occasional lifting, material handling, and participation in physical inventory counts. May require flexibility based on production and operational requirements.
