Procurement Data and Operations Analyst
ConfidentialOne Aligned is seeking a detail-oriented analyst to prepare procurement data, test workflows, document processes, and support operations during an enterprise resource planning (ERP) implementation. You will work closely with the implementation lead and departments across the organization. Successful migration starts with accurate vendor and contract information. You will perform the hands-on cleanup, validation, testing, and documentation that help launch a reliable system while maintaining daily procurement services. Procurement decisions and approvals remain with authorized organizational staff. What You Will Do Inventory and organize procurement templates, forms, contracts, and supporting documents needed for implementation. Gather and clean vendor and contract records; identify duplicates, missing fields, inconsistent formats, and discrepancies for review. Map source records to system-provided upload templates, maintain data definitions and exception logs, and prepare validated files for approval. Reconcile migrated records against approved source files; document discrepancies and coordinate corrections with organizational data owners and the implementation vendor. Execute and document tests of workflows, templates, settings, system functions, and connections to existing systems; track defects and retest fixes. Create process maps, procedures, user guides, training materials, and organized implementation records. Prepare reports and procurement performance measures; assist departments and vendors with onboarding and use of the new system. Provide daily procurement support under organizational direction; assist with authorized system administration, reporting, cleanup, process improvements, and staff handoff after go-live. What You Bring 3 or more years of experience in procurement support, contract administration, business analysis, data analysis, or a related operational role. Hands-on experience cleaning, validating, reconciling, and organizing vendor, contract, financial, or comparable business data. Strong Excel skills, including lookups, pivot tables, filtering, and data validation; proficiency with Word and collaborative document tools. Experience documenting workflows, procedures, requirements, or user guides and supporting system testing. Ability to handle sensitive records, maintain accurate documentation, track exceptions, and follow approved procurement procedures. Bachelor’s degree in business, public administration, information systems, or a related field; equivalent directly relevant experience may be considered where the contract permits. Preferred Qualifications ERP system experience. Government procurement experience, including vendor records and contract documentation. Excel Power Query, SQL, Power BI, or similar data preparation and reporting skills. Experience with data migration, user acceptance testing, user training, or approved system administration. Process improvement experience (Green or Black belt preferred. ) What Success Looks Like Vendor and contract files meet agreed data-quality requirements, with exceptions resolved or approved before loading. Migrated records reconcile to approved source files; tests and defect resolutions are documented. Users receive practical guidance, operational requests are tracked, and organizational staff receive maintainable procedures and reports.
