Job Overview We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Procurement Coordinator to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for sourcing and purchasing materials essential for our manufacturing processes, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to quality standards. Your expertise will help maintain smooth production workflows and uphold our commitment to superior product quality. Duties Creates POS with supporting documents (ex. Packing slips, payment info), issues, tracks, and follows up on purchase orders to ensure materials are ordered and delivered on time. Communicates with vendors regarding pricing, availability, lead times, order status, quality issues, and delivery schedules. Monitors inventory levels and assists with identifying when materials need to be reordered. Tracks material availability and communicates potential shortages or delays to the appropriate teams. Coordinates incoming material deliveries and verifies quantities and documentation upon receipt. Develops and maintains positive working relationships with suppliers and vendors. Requests and compares vendor quotes and assists with identifying cost-effective purchasing options. Works closely with Production, Inside Sales, and Project Management to understand current and upcoming material requirements. Maintains organized purchasing records, including purchase orders, packing slips, invoices, product information, and Safety Data Sheets (SDS). Assists with researching new materials, products, and suppliers when project or production material needs arise. Optimizes usage based on incoming orders with an emphasis in reducing obsolescence. Develops and maintains a buying/price database in the company’s ERP (PSIOPS) for every product. Qualifications Proven experience in procurement, inventory, supply chain, manufacturing, or related field. Ability to handle materials safely according to safety standards in production Strong negotiation skills and attention to detail in materials handling and inventory management Ability to communicate clearly and professionally, both verbal and written. Customer service driven. Glass or construction related experience preferred. Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred.
