DESCRIPTION OF WORK This position supports the Department of Revenue by coordinating and completing both routine and complex procurement work. The role helps ensure clear, accurate, and compliant purchasing and contract activities across multiple systems and programs. As a Procurement Contracts Manager, you will perform the following duties: Procurement Coordination: Coordinate procurement activities, develop documents, and support program offices with accurate and timely guidance Compliance Review: Review procurement requests and documentation to ensure alignment with laws, directives, and department policies Vendor Communication: Communicate with vendors to resolve submission issues, clarify requirements, and support smooth procurement processes Record Management: Maintain procurement records, tracking logs, and system entries to support audits and reporting needs Staff Support: Provide technical guidance, review documents prepared by others, and assist with onboarding and training new staff Process Improvement: Support data gathering for cost analysis, performance monitoring, and continuous improvement efforts Interested in learning more? Work Schedule and Additional Information: Full-time employment Work hours are: Choice of 7:30 AM-4:00 PM with a 60-minute lunch or 8:00 AM-4:00 PM with a 30-minute lunch, Monday - Friday. Telework: You may have the opportunity to work from home (telework) part-time, two days per week in office. In order to telework, you must have a securely configured high-speed internet connection and work from an approved location inside Pennsylvania. If you are unable to telework, you will have the option to report to the headquarters office in Harrisburg. The ability to telework is subject to change at any time. REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY QUALIFICATIONS Minimum Experience and Training Requirements: One year as an Administrative Officer 1; or Three years of experience in progressively responsible and varied office management or staff work, including experience in personnel management, budgeting, or procurement; and a bachelor's degree; or Any equivalent combination of experience and training. Additional Requirements: You must abide by the prohibition guidelines and refrain from gambling in Pennsylvania casinos, or any casino outside of Pennsylvania with the same owners. You must have one year of Commonwealth procurement experience, or three years of non-Commonwealth procurement experience. You must be able to perform essential job functions.
