This position will be located at the Lewis and Clark State Office Building, 1101 Riverside Drive, Jefferson City, Missouri . Responsibilities - What you’ll do Consult with divisions and OA Purchasing to determine the best course of action for bid requests or bidding situations, assist with MissouriBUYS, and other procurement-related issues. Develop and process formal/informal bids into services and commodities contracts such as Single Feasible Source (SFS), Invitation for Bid, and Request for Quote. Track department contracts, expirations, and extensions to ensure necessary contracts are in place to fulfill the department's mission. Ensure compliance with Chapter 34 RSMo and 1 CSR 40 state procurement statutes and regulations. Assist department programs regarding purchase orders in MissouriBUYS. Provide guidance on use of current statewide contracts. Assist department programs with procurement questions regarding Scope of Work and contractor compliance related to awarded contracts. Assist with analysis of Purchasing Card purchases, utilization, and appropriate credit limits. Serve as backup to other General Services Program tasks such as mail, purchasing card, facility request and fleet. Equivalent to those typically gained by: Bachelor’s degree and 1-3 years of relevant experience. (Substitutions may be allowed.) Procurement experience (preferred) Experience with Sam II (State of Missouri Financial System), MissouriBUYS (State of Missouri Procurement System) and SharePoint (preferred).
