Processing/Shipper - Zeus Flagpoles

Benefits: 401(k) 401(k) matching Competitive salary Health insurance Paid time off Processing / Shipper — Zeus Flagpoles Reports To: Operations Supervisor I Department: Operations / Shipping Position Summary The processing I Shipper is responsible for preparing Zeus Flagpoles and related products for final shipment and customer pickup. This is a hands-on position that plays an important role in making sure every order leaves our facility complete, properly prepared, accurately documented, and professionally packaged. This individual with work directly from daily production and shipping schedules and coordinate closely with the Operations Supervisor and other members of the production and operations team. Key Responsibilities Follow daily production and shipping schedules to ensure orders are completed and ready on time. Perform final processing and internal preparation to flagpoles prior to shipment. Review sales orders and verify that poles, kits, hardware, accessories, and other components are complete and correct. Package flagpoles and related products property to protect them during transportation. Ensure all products and packages are correctly identified, labeled, and tagged. Prepare and verify packing slips. Bills of Lading (BOLS), and other shipping documentation. Coordinate and work with LTL carriers for outgoing and incoming freight. Coordinate and assist with loading and unloading trucks safety and efficiently. Support customers arriving at the facility for order pickups and ensure their orders and paperwork are complete. Maintain appropriate inventory levels of shipping tubes, packaging materials, labels, and related supplies. Notify the Operations Supervisor when packaging or shipping supplies need to be reordered. Identify discrepancies, damaged products, missing components, or other issues before an order is released for shipment. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe shipping and processing area. Assist with other production, warehouse, and shipping activities as needed. Qualifications & Skills Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Ability to read and follow sales orders, work orders, packing slips, and shipping schedules. Comfortable preparing and reviewing Bills of Lading and other freight documentation. Experience working with LTL freight carriers is preferred. Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple orders and priorities. Dependable and able to work independently while also functioning as part of a team. Good communication skills and professional interaction with customers, drivers, and coworkers. Ability to recognize when something is missing or incorrect and address the issue before shipment. Forklift experience or willingness to become forklift certified. Basic computer skills for accessing orders and preparing shipping documentation. Physical Requirements This is an active, hands-on position. The employee must be able to stand and move throughout the workday, handle and package long products such as flagpoles and shipping tubes, lift and move materials safely, and assist with loading and unloading trucks. What Success Looks Like Success in this position means that every Zeus Flagpoles order leaves our facility complete, accurate, properly packaged, correctly identified and labeled, and accompanied by the right documentation. The Processing/ Shipper is one of the final quality checks before our product reaches the customer and is an important part of delivering the level of service our customers expect from Zeus Flagpoles
