We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Pricing Coordinator to join our growing logistics team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing competitive freight rates, negotiating with carriers and service providers, maintaining pricing databases, and supporting our sales team in securing new business opportunities. This position requires strong communication, analytical, and organizational skills, along with the ability to collaborate with domestic and international partners in a fast-paced freight forwarding environment. Key Responsibilities Negotiate competitive freight rates with ocean carriers, trucking companies, co-loaders, and other logistics service providers. Maintain regular communication with carriers and overseas agents regarding market rates, service contracts, capacity, and space availability. Prepare and distribute accurate freight quotations for domestic and international shipments. Maintain and update internal pricing databases, rate sheets, and customer-specific pricing agreements. Work closely with the sales team to develop competitive pricing strategies and secure new business opportunities. Coordinate with overseas offices and international partners to obtain competitive origin and destination charges. Monitor market trends, carrier rate fluctuations, and industry developments to maintain competitive pricing. Analyze shipment volumes, historical pricing, and profit margins to support rate negotiations. Assist in resolving billing discrepancies and pricing-related disputes. Support customer retention and business development by providing timely and competitive quotations. Participate in internal meetings and coordinate with international partners as needed. Qualifications & Requirements Minimum of 1 year of experience in an office, logistics, or transportation environment. Previous experience in freight forwarding, logistics pricing, or freight rate negotiations is highly preferred. Familiarity with ocean freight, air freight, domestic trucking, and intermodal transportation is a plus. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Outlook, Word, Teams, and other Microsoft Office applications. Experience with freight forwarding management systems such as CargoWise, GoFreight, or similar platforms is preferred. Strong analytical skills with the ability to evaluate costs and calculate profit margins. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to manage multiple quotations, prioritize deadlines, and work independently. Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain confidential business information. Professional email and telephone etiquette. Bilingual in English and Mandarin is preferred. Education Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field is preferred. Relevant industry experience may be considered in place of formal education. Compensation $22–$30 per hour , depending on qualifications, relevant experience, and skills.
